Description

The SAIC NitroLaq range of lacquers is a 1KPU (single pack polyutherane) technology which is designed for best performance in areas with medium to high traffic. These are not however suitable for application on surfaces where regular contact with water is likely to occur, such as bathrooms, wetrooms, etc.

NitroLaq solutions have anti-bacterial properties which offer protection against E-coli, MRSA, salmonella, listeria and other harmful bacterial with a 99% kill rate within 24 hours.

The NitroLaq range is suited for internal soft and hardwood flooring for both domestic and a wide range of commercial applications such as shops, offices, restaurants and public buildings with medium to high traffic.

Supplied ready for use but the lacquers can be thinned with water up to a maximum of 2%, if required (recommended for milder months only.)

Directions:
Lacquer should be applied smoothly making even passes with the roller/pad primarily along the grain taking care to avoid ?pooling?. The approximate coverage of a single coat lacquer is 8 – 10 m? per litre, this however is dependant on factors such as the method of application, porosity of the timber and type/desired finish.

These lacquers should ideally be used (lacquer & application area) at temperatures above 15 degrees Celsius, to prevent problems of film formation and ?whitening?.

Touch Dry at 18 degrees Celsius in 20 – 30 minutes
Sandable at 18 degrees Celsius in 2-3 hours
Recoatable at 18 degrees Celsius in 2-3 hours minimum
