From a small workshop in Monks Gate to our modern Lancing facility, SAIC has evolved while maintaining the same family values and technical expertise.
1976–1987
Monks Gate
Founded in an old carpenter’s workshop, focusing on protective clothing and industrial supplies.
1987–2000
Shoreham-By-Sea
Expanded into surface finishing and rebranded to Southdown Abrasives & Industrial Chemicals.
2000–Present
Lancing
Purchased our larger facility in 2012 and continue supporting industry nationwide.
