Film Velcro-Backed Discs

These discs are a high-quality abrasive solution designed for superior precision and durability.

The backing is made of a thin, strong, and flexible polyester film, providing enhanced tear resistance compared to traditional paper discs. When sanding under high pressure or on sharp edges/corners or uneven surfaces, the film backing resists tearing that could otherwise shorten the disc’s lifespan.

The additional benefit of film discs is that the polyester backing resists water and moisture, making them ideal for wet sanding processes.

Applications: Sanding automotive paints, primers, and clear coats; finishing delicate surfaces like cabinetry and furniture; sanding uneven surfaces and edges on intricate pieces such as moulded components.
