Zirconia Fibre Discs

These discs are designed for high-pressure applications requiring durability and aggressive stock removal. Compared to aluminium oxide, zirconia discs are significantly tougher and feature self-sharpening properties, allowing them to last longer and maintain cutting power during heavy-duty tasks like weld removal or grinding hard metals such as stainless steel and alloys.

While zirconia fibre discs do not usually have any heat-resistant properties, for requirements such as grinding structural steel or foundry work these offer the ideal balance between performance and affordability.

Applications: Weld removal, bevelling/edge preparation, surface blending, rust removal, maintenance & repairs.
