Guide to Polishing Plastics & Lacquers

Depending on the state of the plastic/lacquered substrate you may need to start with an abrasive. Once you have reached the desired finish using your abrasives we then suggest moving onto using polishing mops and compounds.
We would first recommend using a tripoli compound such as SAICTRIP Supreme or Lustre with a white stitch mop or coolair polishing mop. This will help cut back the abrasive marks and prepare you for the next step.
For the next stage we would recommend using a wax finishing bar such as Cannings Vonax or Menzerna Wax 16 with a soft WDR loosefold mop. This will give you a nice final polished finish.
