Sica Coarse - Grits 40-60Sica Coarse is ideal for coarse sanding and calibration sanding of wood and MDF. It features silicon carbide grains, in combination with an open coating, to provide long lasting performance on tough sanding applications. In addition, the product’s anti-static characteristics minimise dust load and help prevent clogging.
Recommended for hard wood & MDF, as well as plastics & composites due to the silicon carbide grains requiring less pressure and providing a finer scratch pattern without gouging the workpiece.

Sica Closed - Grits 80-220
Designed for belt sanding and sanding of MDF and other materials containing mineral debris, Sica Closed is a fully antistatic product that’s suitable for materials covered with water-based surface treatment coatings. It maintains its shape well and the silicon carbide grains produce less fibre rising and a finer scratch pattern than products using aluminium oxide grains. The result is a smoother sanded surface and a better final finish after surface treatment.
