Sia 6924 Heavy-Duty Surface Conditioning Roloc Discs, 50/Pack

A highly popular, heavy-duty & high performance surface conditioning (or “scotchbrite”) material, in a thicker form than standard SCM discs for significantly longer life and improved performance. Ideal for removing surface defects, refining scratches and blending in tool/abrasive marks, and recommended for tough grinding jobs on mild and stainless steel. More aggressive than the competition so will take off more stock more quickly, with a comparable finish.

Grit: Aluminium Oxide
Grit Range: medium, coarse
Backing: Nylon fibre
Bonding: Synthetic resin
Applications:

• Blending after a fibre disc. Due to the faster cut rate of siamet hd coarser fibre discs can be used to speed up the application
• Light grinding applications e.g. fused corner welds where no extra material is added during welding
• Light deburring
• Remove surface scratches and handling marks
• Weld cleaning and refinement where weld removal is not required
• High volume production lines such as construction vehicle manufacturing
