The Klingspor QMC 409 Multi-bond zirconia quick-change discs are handy little abrasive discs that are designed for use on high-speed grinders. Equipped with a plastic locking. The quick-change discs with plastic locking can be changed quickly in one simple.This feature makes changing the abrasive discs during the work process quick and easy. The result is reduced set-up times and improved effectiveness. Laying the foundation for the structure of the abrasive discs is a stable polyester cloth. Supported by this base is a premium grit composed of zirconia grain, applied with a close coating. The bonding is provided by synthetic resin. Found on the back of the disc is the plastic locking with inside thread that is used to make the connection with the backing pad. This structure of the abrasive discs combined with an additional multibond allows for a cool grinding process. This feature proves especially beneficial during work on stainless steel and offers a high removal rate at the same time. The QMC 409 abrasive discs also come in handy for applications on aluminium as the multibond creates an advantage to reduce loading when used on this material.

Extensive range of applications with the right backing pad
The abrasive discs come with a matching selection of backing pads with different hardnesses. A hard backing pad is the right choice for a high removal rate. If an application calls for fine sanding a surface or processing profiled surfaces, a soft and flexible backing pad will work best. Attaching the Quick Change Discs quick roll connect could not be easier. To fix the disc in place, simply position the abrasive disc on the backing pad and screw it into place using the inside thread found on the back of the abrasive disc. The quick-release fastener tops off the terrific ease of use and exceptionally smooth operation of these abrasive discs. Their unique qualities guarantee uniform sanding results and working for long periods without fatiguing.
