These include Turbo, Zirconia or the high-performance Nitro Fast-Cut Ceramic for working on mild/carbon steel, cast iron and nickel or titanium alloys. For working on stainless steel or titanium we also offer a number of materials with a cooling topsize, which minimises the heat generated by the disc when grinding and therefore reduces burning or discoloration of the workpiece. These include the heavy-duty Green Nitro Zirconia, as well as our popular Green Nitro Ceramic, and for very high-performance requirements we also have the Red Nitro Ceramic. For working on softer metals such as aluminium the White Nitro Ceramic would offer the best performance, with a stearate coating that reduces clogging/loading and maximises the life of the disc. For applications which require a higher level of finish or scratch pattern (and little to no stock removal) we have available the Turbo Surface Conditioning Discs (also in Nitro for more heavy-duty jobs) which are often known as “scotchbrite”, and for rust or paint removal we would suggest the Turbo-Strip
