Available in hook-face discs, strips and perforated rolls, the Ultimax Ligno combines a fast cut with long life. The ceramic grain offers especially good resistance to clogging when sanding soft woods due to the revolutionary raised hourglass grit pattern.

The resulting improved air circulation prevents wood dust turning into a clogging putty, while maintaining the sharp edge to the grains and maximising the cut throughout the life of the abrasive.

During manufacturer testing the Ultimax Ligno experienced virtually no clogging on wood after four to five passes, in comparison to entry level Gold products which began to clog and dull the grains after the first pass. In addition to this the Ligno experienced up to 50% longer life in testing against comparable mid-to-high-range competitor products such as the Sia 1950 Siaspeed, while also maintaining a continuous rate of cut.
