Sica Open - Grits 80-180Sica Open is the recommended solution for sanding soft, resin-rich wood types. The open coating and completely anti-static backing material and layers limit dust loading and prevent clogging which improves product lifespan. In addition, silicon carbide grains produce a smoother scratch pattern and a higher surface gloss level than aluminium-oxide based sanding materials.
The silicon carbide abrasive also requires less pressure to be applied as it is very sharp and so will do most of the work rather for the operator, which prevents gouging of the workpiece and makes Sica Open ideal for sanding plastics & composites.

Sica Fine - Grits 240-800
Sica Fine is a fully antistatic product which minimises dust load and helps produce a high-quality surface finish. For example, it results in a perfect finish after surface treatment with a top lacquer – it even minimises lacquer usage.
